Despite going head-to-head against the presidential inauguration, both Dynamite and NXT saw a significant boost in the ratings this week. In fact, all four major wrestling shows experienced a nice bump in the ratings this week. And although NXT's ratings increase was larger than Dynamite's in terms of margin, it still wasn't large enough to overtake Dynamite's previous lead. Therefore, this week was another victory for AEW with a 29.6% larger audience as well as a better 18-49 demographics rating. Here are the details.

  • Unlike last week's New Year's Smash, this week's episode of Dynamite wasn't labeled as a special episode. Ironically, Dynamite's ratings jumped significantly this week. The size of the audience grew from 762,000 viewers to 854,000 viewers. That's an impressive boost of 12.1%. Dynamite's 18-49 demograhics grew by an even bigger margin. It went up from 0.3 last week to 0.36 this week. Among cable television for the night, Dynamite came in at the #33 spot for the 18-49 demographic and the #64 spot for overall viewership.

  • Last week, NXT experienced one of its lowest ratings in the show's history. Fortunately for WWE, it was able to make a big rebound this week. The viewership came back from 551,000 last week all the way to 659,000 this week. That's a huge boost of 19.6%. The show's 18-49 demographics rating didn't make as big a comeback, though. It improved from 0.14 last week to 0.15 this week. Among cable television for the night, NXT came in at the #67 spot for the 18-49 demographic and the #73 spot for overall viewership.

As previously mentioned, the ratings for both Smackdown and Raw also increased this week.

  • Just like last week, Smackdown saw a decent improvement in its ratings. The audience increased by 6.7%. as it grew from 2,120,000 viewers last week to 2,262,000 viewers this week. The show's 18-49 demographics rating, on the other had, saw a much bigger improvement. It jumped from 0.56 last week to 0.67 this week. Among network television for the night, Smackdown came in at the #2 spot for the 18-49 demographic and the #6 spot for overall viewership.

  • Raw's ratings improvement was much more modest than Smackdown's. The number of viewers increase from 1,819,333 last week to 1,854,333 this week, a small rise of 1.9%. Its 18-49 demographics rating also went up slightly, going up from 0.55 last week to 0.60 this week. Among cable television for the night, Raw landed in the #3 spot for the 18-49 demographic and the #34 spot for overall viewership.

With this week's victory, Dynamite's winning streak has just been extended to eight weeks in a row in the Wednesday Night Wars. The AEW show's win-loss record now stands at 53-10-1 for viewership and 63-1 for the 18-49 demographic. As for NXT, the win-loss record is 10-53-1 for viewership and 1-63 for the 18-49 demographic.
